Today’s featured victim of persecution and censorship on X is kalashnikity.
To kalashnikity and his followers, his replies appear to be visible to everyone in the main conversation areas of the threads he participates in. But to every other X user, X displays a different version of the threads in which kalashnikity’s replies are hidden at the bottom in the “offensive content” section, which requires additional clicks to see.
Put a different way, kalashnikity’s account is in a secret censorship mode that causes all of his replies to automatically be put in the “offensive content” area regardless of what he says. But X tries to prevent kalashnikity and his followers from realizing that anything is amiss by displaying a misleading representation of the threads to them.
As usual, I went through kalashnikity’s replies, taking the most recent 15, skipping threads that have hundreds or thousands of replies because it’s inconvenient to scroll to the bottom of them.
By the end of these examples I hope you will be persuaded that X’s censorship system uses the “offensive content” area as a trash can to hide the comments of suppressed users, and often has absolutely nothing to do with being offensive.

Why/how was this placed in the “offensive content” area? There’s no text. I think this is a meme offered by X itself. Was X offended by its own meme?

Does it seem clear that being put in the “offensive content” area is about persecuting the user, not what was said?

This looks like a link to a paper on the NIH’s web site, declared by X to be offensive.

I always read the “offensive” replies on X and they have never been offensive. Sometimes they are the most relevant or most important reply to the content. I have always found this strange and wondered why this occurs???
